About Me
Let me introduce myself. I am a wife and the mother of
two wonderful girls. When my first-born turned one, I wanted
her to have a really special birthday cake. (As if she would
know the difference at age 1.) And there it started. I've
been making cakes for family and friends ever since.
People kept telling me that I ought to consider baking
and decorating cakes for a living. Well, they finally convinced
me. I started Sugarplum Fairy Cakes in 2001 and am enjoying
the opportunity to bring a little "sweetness"
into the lives of those around me. :)
